Some of the Barossa Valley's best restaurants!

Some of the best Barossa Valley restaurants where Barossa grown food features highly on the menus are located along Seppeltsfield Road. Treat yourself to some of Australia’s premier dining experiences, including dinner at Appellation and dinner or lunch at Hentley Farm restaurant where they offer the opportunity to dine in the property's intimate and elegantly restored stables set amongst the vines. Opened in November 2014 is Fino@Seppeltsfield.  Offering superb alfresco dining as well as a dining area housed within 1868 Bluestone wine fermentation tanks, from this semi-subterranean dining area patrons will be able to view Seppeltsfield’s Centennial Collection barrels (which date back to 1878) directly above and dine in tanks which fermented some of the Barossa’s earliest 19th century vintages. Read a recent review of Fino by John Lethlean in The Australian.

No visit to the Barossa is complete without visiting Maggie Beer's Farmshop for a gourmet picnic lunch by the lake and then sharing a free Verjuice cooking class held at 2pm each day!

Delicious gourmet platters of regional Barossa food are also offered at many of our cellar doors, so why not enjoy a platter while feeding the kangaroos at Whistler Wines or sitting on the terrace at Barossa Valley Estate overlooking one of the Barossa’s most beautiful vistas?

Appellation at The Louise

Food, wine, luxury accommodation and a genuine welcome await. The Louise offers absolute luxury and inspired design with private spaces, generous ensuites and breathtaking views. Appellation is one of Australia’s finest restaurants; fresh, local ingredients, informed service and an award-winning wine-list ensure a truly memorable experience.

Opening hours: Appellation open nightly from 7pm, The Louise and Appellation operate throughout the year with some exceptions as described on our website.
