Seppeltsfield Road Bike Trail

For cyclists, walkers and runners, Seppeltsfield Road offers beautiful vistas, heritage buildings, seemingly endless vineyard views and of course many cellar doors.

All cellar doors will deliver wine direct to where you live, so you can ride, walk or run and order your wine on the move!

The first-off road, sealed section of a planned 15 kilometre trail between the townships of Tanunda and Greenock is a two kilometre stretch of trail extending from Rolf Binder Wines to the Stonewell Road Visitor Information Bay.

Travelling west along Seppeltsfield Road from Barossa Valley Way or Tanunda, this shared path commences at Rolf Binder Wines Cellar Door traversing natural scrub and vineyard to Whistler Wines, where you can visit their cellar door and observe their rescue kangaroos.

The shared path continues through Whistler Wine’s vineyards, crosses Seppeltsfield Road and runs adjacent to more vineyard on the northern side of Seppeltsfield Road to the Stonewell Road Visitor Information Bay.

You can of course still ride the length of Seppeltsfield Road, but make sure you walk or run off to the side of the road, always wear high visibility clothing and watch and listen carefully for road traffic.
