Marananga Wine Show public tasting
August 25, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
$25
Seppeltsfield Road winds its way through the vineyards of the western Barossa – an iconic avenue of palms that links the villages of Marananga and Seppeltsfield. The road is flanked by renowned wineries such as Whistler Wines, Seppeltsfield, Tscharke and Greenock Creek Wines as well as an intriguing number of small batch wine producers. Marananga Lutheran Church stands amongst vineyards and palms, and each year holds the Marananga Wine Show as a celebration of the wines of its western Barossa community. The event showcases wines from the western Barossa and is the only sub-regional wine show in Australia.
The MWS public tasting provides guests with the rare opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with growers and winemakers, taste 120 wine entries and cast their vote for the People’s Choice award. Gourmet food lovers will want to combine a visit to the Marananga Wine Show Public Tasting with one of the region’s exceptional culinary experiences. Hentley Farm , Appellation and Fino all call this sub-region home, and a wide range of accommodation awaits those who choose to extend their experience for an entire weekend!
Tickets are AUD25.00 and includes a tasting glass and light refreshments. Book online or purchase at the door.
