The Lodge Country House built in 1903 is a traditional bluestone Edwardian Villa, historically characteristic of many grand homes built in South Australia at the turn of the century. The Lodge was commissioned by Udo Waldemar Seppelt as the matrimonial home of his wife Helen and himself. The Lodge was positioned within the vineyards so as to provide an element of seclusion and privacy for the family whilst living within the estate. When built the Lodge was a grand example of fine country living. Continued renovations sensitive to the homes character have continued to ensure the homes fine presentation and maintenance of all modern amenities. This is unquestionably the Barossa’s best location to search out the world’s finest wines and best cuisine. Relax by the garden pool during the hot summers or snuggling up in front of the winter fire. Enjoy Luxury period accommodation, set within a pedigree vineyard, centred in one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions.
